This Code has been drawn up by the British Association of Removers alongside the Trading Standards Institute (TSI). The British Association of Movers is the largest and most recognised Trade Association for the removals industry in the UK and works for both its members and their customers.
Fox is also a member of the Overseas Group of the BAR. This is a specialist group catering for companies such as us that partake in large volumes of International Removals. We work alongside other members of the Overseas Group around the world so that our client’s removals go as smooth and efficiently as possible by sharing information and assisting each other. Every member of the BAR Overseas Group has to subscribe to a financial bonding scheme so that all pre-payments to the company are protected. This Advance Payment Guarantee is essential to every overseas move and it is only available to those who are members of the BAR Overseas Group.
We are also members of FIDI, The International Federation of International Movers. FIDI is the largest global alliance of quality independent removals companies who carry out intercontinental movement of people’s belongings. We are also members of FAIM, FIDI Accredited International Mover. It is an accreditation for the international moving industry that has been recognised for over ten years. They have a strict and stringent auditing process and are committed to very high standards for international customers. Therefore Fox endeavours to use FAIM accredited agents whenever possible throughout the world for your peace of mind.
